  3. Looka
  4. Canva
  5. Brandcrowd
  6. Namecheap
  7. Smashinglogo
  8. DesignEvo
  9. 48hourslogo
  10. Drawtify

1. Fiverr

How does Fiverr logo maker work?

Fiverr has a do it yourself logo maker and an option to select a professional logo designer.

The do it yourself option is a pre-made customizable logo maker predesigned by professionals who are selected by fiverr’s editorial team.

To make your logo, you input your brand name, slogan, industry and other preferences into the logo maker’s wizard which then generates a logo in minutes.

Key features

  • Hire professionals for almost anything
  • More customization options
  • Active community to help out
  • Availability of guaranteed professionals
  • Revisions allowed
  • Services offered in more than 150 languages

  • Most common price = $10, includes most file formats

2.Tailor Brands

What is Tailor Brands?

Tailor Brands is well-known for providing all of the tools required to launch your business.

The procedure begins with the creation of a logo.

If you are not interested in their other services, you can choose to only get a logo. Their logo maker is powered by AI.

In six steps, you enter your brand name and answer some questions, and your logo is created.

What I like about tailor brands is how clean and organized the logo creation experience is, as well as the additional downloads that come with your logo at a reasonable price.

Key features

  • Optimized logo sizes for social media
  • Business cards included
  • Print store for branded merchandise available
  • Brand book included ( guide to use your logo and logo colors)
  • Revisions allowed

  • Pricing is subscription based depending on the features you need
  •  Lowest price is $9.99/month or $3.99/month for 1 year at the time of this publication

3. Looka

If you like tailor brands but change your mind later and are looking for a direct competitor, I believe Looka is the right fit for you.

Looka and tailor Brands are both known for having all of the tools you need to launch your business.

When I tried Looka, I liked how clean and professional the designs were, as well as the tools that came with your logo.

They are on the pricier side, but the quality-to-price ratio is great in my opinion.

features

  • High resolution logos
  • Unlimited changes
  • Branding tools
  • Social medial tools
  • Marketing tools
  • Lifetime support

Pricing

  • Depends on services you select
  • From $20 one time purchase to $196/year at the time of this publication

4. Canva

Canva differs from fiverr and tailor brands in that it is template-based.

Canva has some cool templates that you can customize for almost any design you need, whether it’s for social media, business, marketing, or personal use.

Canva’s logo maker is actually free.

You choose a template from their free logo library and customize it to your liking.

Canva’s free file options are limited. But it is is great for more than just logos; I’ve been using it for free to create various social media posts and marketing designs.

key Features

  • Free logo
  • Print store
  • Free Social media designs
  • Free marketing tools

Pricing

  • Free download for limited file formats
  • Free limited services
  • $9.99/month for pro services

Try canva

5. Brandcrowd

Before considering Fiverr and tailor Brands, I first tried Brandcrowd.

It operates on the same model as tailor Brands, but differs in that it allows you to purchase pre-made logos sold by others.

It also allows you to customize pre-made logos with your brand name.

In my experience, the customization and pricing options on Brandcrowd were adequate but not as good as those on Fiverr or Tailor Brands.

Key feautures

  • Unlimited logo edits
  • 30+ Social media design tools
  • 200+ business card templates
  • High resolution files and vector files formats
  • 3000+ social media templates

Pricing

  • $5/month billed anually or $15/month billed monthly

6. Namecheap

Namecheap is widely recommended for low-cost domain registration, web hosting, and VPN services.

I recently discovered that they also have a logo maker.

When I tried it, I was surprised to discover that it was decent, had customizations, and some cool designs.

Apart from the free download, what I liked about namecheap is the questions they have you answer to create a very personalized design.

The questions allow you to have the perfect color and fonts for your logo

However, when compared to the first four logo makers we discussed, customization is limited. But, it is free and decent.

Key features

  • Unique customization preferences
  • Business cards
  • Web hosting
  • Domain registration
  • VPN services

Pricing

  • Free logo download
  • Pricing for business cards based on quantity of cards

To design your free logo on namecheap, go to their homepage, click on search, and then search for “logo,” which will be the first result.

7. Smashinglogo

Smashinglogo works similarly to namecheap, but with a little more customization.

If you dislike subscription-based pricing for your logo, this may be a good fit for you because the prices are based on the finalized logo you receive and are a one-time purchase.

I ranked them lower than the previous five because they offer fewer logos to customize than the first five we discussed.

Key features

  • Unlimited changes
  • Social media kit
  • Branding guidelines
  • Logo animation
  • Design support
  • Web-ready and print-ready files

Pricing

  • One time purchase
  • Depends on finalized logo design

Try smashinglogo

8. DesignEvo

DesignEvo, like Canva, uses templates for logo design.

They have an advantage over Canva in that they have several categories of templates to choose from, which you can then customize to your liking.

If you don’t like subscription-based pricing, their pricing is a one-time purchase only.

Key features

  • 10000+ templates
  • Professionally designed icons and stylish fonts
  • Full customization
  • Lifestime support
  • Edit and re-download

Pricing

  • Free download available, but in low resolution

9. 48hourslogo

48hourslogo works similarly to Fiverr, and its pricing is also comparable.

You submit your logo request and answer a few questions.

You are then presented with several designs created by professional designers from which you can choose the best.

Depending on the pricing plan you select, the process can take anywhere from 24 to 72 hours.

If you like a very flashy and eye-catching logo, this is the one for you.

This one seemed to be the most sophisticated of the logo makers I tried, although on the pricey side.

Key features

  • Wide range of deisgners to chose from
  • Brand assets
  • Social media tools
  • Different file formats included

Price

  • Starts at $129 per package at the time of this publication

10. Drawtify

Last but not least, there’s drawtify.

This one is ranked tenth because, in my opinion, it requires a little more skill to get started and may take a little longer than the other ones we discussed.

As the name implies, instead of using a wizard to generate logos like the others, drawify provides you with tools to draw out your logo to your liking.

What I think of Drawtify is that it is similar to Photoshop but focuses on logo design.

If you want the most customization and the most unique logo, this is the one for you.

Features

  • Unlimited customization
  • Editable templates
  • Motion graphics editor
  • Photo editor
  • Advanced typography tools

Pricing

  • Free download for limited file formats
  • $14.99/ month or $99.99/year for multiple file format at the time of this publication

Conclusion

Finding the best sites for logo design is not an easy task.

There are numerous logo makers available, and I tested several of them to identify the top ten.

It may be difficult to choose, but I believe that if you choose any of the ones we discussed based on features, customization, and pricing, you will create a great and satisfying logo.

Which logo maker is your favorite? I’d appreciate it if you could let me know.

After testing a list of the top ten logo makers, I discovered that namecheap logo maker and canva are the best free options. Namecheap, in particular, provides almost all of the features offered by paid logo makers for free.

To create your own logo, first come up with a unique brand name. Before you attempt to create a logo, you should first create a brandable name. I recommend drawing inspiration for your design from the logos of your favorite brands. Which colors do you prefer? What are your favorite fonts? Do you want something simple or something sophisticated? Once you’ve mastered those, designing your logo with some of the logo makers we’ve discussed will be a breeze.

There are several logo makers available, but the best one depends on your needs and preferences. I compiled a list of the top ten logo makers, comparing their features and prices. The top three were Fiverr, Tailor Brands, and Looka.

To create a logo on Canva, go to their home page and select logo under templates. You can then select a template that you like and customize it to your liking.

It is optional but recommended to trademark your logo. Tradmarking makes your logo unique to you and protects your brand from people pretending to be you and possibly giving you a bad reputation.

To protect your business name and logo, you should trademark it and form an LLc. This allows you to legalize your business and receive government benefits. Tailor Brands and Looka have all of the tools for this, as we discussed earlier.
